Pokemon Go is a free to play single player/multiplayer Augemted reality game released in July 6 2016 by The Pokemon Company and Nintendo, it has since been released to most developed regions of the world and has been the trend and almost becoming addictive amongst youths

The game was developed by Niantic Inc. an American software development company based in San Francisco, California for Android and IOS users, although the company was founded just in 2010, they keep surprising the world with their ability to develop great Augmented reality games after Pokémon Go even surpassed the achievements of Ingress released in 2012.

Its an Innovative game that really proves that even our science fictions are all made from our environment and from the inspirations of the social community, The Pokémon video game series has used real-world locations such as the Hokkaido and Kanto regions of Japan, New York, and Paris as inspiration for the fantasy settings in which its games take place. In Pokémon GO, the real world will be the setting!

Making use of GPS and the camera of compatible devices, the game allows players to capture, battle, and train virtual creatures, called Pokémon, who appear on device screens as though in the real world. The game is free to play, although it supports in-app purchases of additional gameplay items. An optional companion Bluetooth wearable device, thePokémon Go Plus, is planned for future release and will alert users when Pokémon are nearby. It is indeed the Augmented combination of Virtual reality and the physical world.

The game quickly became one of the most used smart device apps, surpassing the previous record held by Candy Crush Saga in the United States, and was a boon to the stock value of The Pokémon Company and Nintendo. The game was credited with popularizing augmented reality, and was praised by some medical professionals for potentially improving the mental and physical health of players.

Athough it comes with it's own critics too as it was released to mixed reviews. Reviewers praised the overall experience of the game and the incentive to adventure the real world, while noting technical issues that were apparent at launch. It also attracted some controversy due to reports of causing accidents and being a public nuisance at several locations where available and even a death occurrence. It was also said to be against the laws of Islam by clerics in Saudi and hence banned.

It has a lot of cool features such as customising your players as you want, taking snapshots of pokemon, adding to your pokedes by catching virtual Pokemon's in your environment which you can train in the gym and then battle with along with other players and features an all new exciting sing composed by ever inspring Mr. Junichi Masuda.
