A self-driving company, nuTonomy partners with Singapore's Grab Taxis to get the self driving software tested.

The nuTonomy company recently launched its six pilot cars which would be used for the test in Singapore this Friday in its west district which is mostly used for car test and it's well mapped streets would be a very good aid.

A safety driver and a support Engineer would ride in each nuTonomy car as agreed upon by both companies and selected commuters are allowed to book the cars.

This new six technology aims at building independent vehicles and new business plan which would bring about a long-term of reliable transportation.

So many Countries are in support of this Driverless car ideas most especially Singapore has the plan of both companies are in line with the Government interest in reducing car ownership and congestions. Singapore's Grab impressed with this partnership explains that the 'robo-cars' would help people get to their destination since car drivers finds it hard to go to a far location.

The Public test would run for two months and it can be extended if it yields valuable results, feedback and data. If the Driverless cars turns to be a reliable mode of transportation, their plans, to have a Hundred Driverless commercial vehicle in the City would become a reality.
