Yes, that's right. Apple just released a new iOS 10 update for its users accross the world. However, as cool as that seems, it's been reportedly bricking up some iPhones and iPads.

Quite a number of iPhone and iPad users have taken to social media, Twitter especially to lodge their complaints to Apple's Support Account.

Not everyone has fallen a victim but with the loads of tweets on the issue, it seems the bug's eaten deep into many iPhone users.

Also, the issue is not really patterned. Some have tweeted about their iPhones getting bricked while others have got their iPads bricked.

With the company (Apple) aware, a statement was released which stated that the issue had been resolved.

We experienced a brief issue with the software update process, affecting a small number of users during the first hour of availability. The problem was quickly resolved and we apologize to those customers. Anyone who was affected should connect to iTunes to complete the update or contact AppleCare for help.
As a piece of advice, we'd just plead you take a chill pill and wait just some few days till the trend changes on social media to avoid losing your beloved phone. You don't want to go a day without it.
