YouTube has found a new way to eradicate awful and immoral comments by getting its users involved.
Although, YouTube has a team that removes awful comments and giving accurate subtitles but to make their work easier and faster, they decided to get the community involved.
YouTube recently launched a program called YouTube HEROES. This program would help to eradicate immoral comments and would also engage the YouTube users because people would be rewarded for reporting awful comments, writing appropriate subtitles and answering forum questions.
The YouTube HEROES do not have the power to remove inappropriate comments but they can help by reporting. The YouTube employees has the power to remove inappropriate comments and give good subtitles.
YouTube HEROES would also help in changing the tone of the community. The Heroes can be rewarded by getting invited to an exclusive workshop, video chat and they can also get to test YouTube's new products even before they are released.
Before a member can get the highest reward, the member must have reported 1,000 awful comments.
