PEPSI LAUNCHES ANDROID PHONE

News circulated last month that PepsiCo would be launching smartphone in future. Though it was surprising that a company as huge as Pepsi could deviate into the phone world. The speculations turned out to be true as it has finally been launched in China.

Pepsi is running a crowdfunding Campaign. As the phone is exclusive to Chinese market, Chinese consumers who were able to
acquire the early bird promo were able to get the P1 for US$78. The campaign runs till December 3.

The new Pepsi P1 is designed to run only on the latest Android OS installed on it. The device comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p
resolution display ticking on a MediaTek
1.7GHz octa-core processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory which is expandable upto 64GB with a micro SD.

It comes with a 13-megapixel main camera that’s equipped with a Samsung sensor, and a 5-megapixel camera at the front.
